ECO Finishing Completes Expansion Project

ECO Finishing, a leader in the electroplating industry, announces today that they have completed the expansion of their facility in Minneapolis, MN.

The expansion consisted of adding approximately 2,400 square feet of warehouse space, but more importantly, has added a full dock and a ramp to the facility. This expansion was necessary in order to keep up with the growth of the company and enables productivity improvements for production.

Jay Esmay, President of ECO stated that "Last year ECO Finishing and our customers were dealing with restricted dock access. One year later, we are happy to say that the expansion was well worth the effort."

The expanded warehouse space is necessary to stage incoming work before being directed to one of ECO's 16 plating lines. ECO Finishing is proud of its reputation for Just In Time deliveries and fast turnaround orders. As the company has grown, so has its need for additional production and staging space.

"The construction of the expanded dock was expensive and caused some back-ups and frustration at the time", said Esmay. "But customers, drivers and employees alike agree that it was a great move for the company."
